I am going to Copenhagen, Denmark 2008 May - June with a party of 6 or more people. We need a rental, holiday apartment with self-catering facilities. We like it to be close to places of interest, close to the public transportation, clean and economical. Does anyone know any?

I was with you until you got to "economical." Copenhagen is not the place for an inexpensive holiday; prices are very high. The best that comes to mind is Hotel 9 Små Hjem on Classensgade in Østerbro.

You might try a holiday cottage specialist, but the problem is that most of those are away from the city and closer to beaches. Limiting your search to "Sjaelland" will at least get you in the region, but if you will need to be in Copenhagen during most of your stay, then this probably isn't the best idea.
