Make sure you print out the confirmation when you get it, or save it to a back-up drive.
If you dont feel you can trust an online booking then surely the only other method is to go to an agent. Unless you book online using a reputable Co ie Thompsons etc
There is a weekly English language paper (Friday) published in Athens which has plenty of accommodation to rent. The paper is at www.athensnews.gr
